OAO VNIPIneft participation in the 2011 Oil & Gas Congress/Exhibition

OAO VNIPIneft took part in a poster session of the 11th Moscow International Oil and Gas Exhibition (2011 MIOGE) held in the Krasnaya Presnya ExpoCenter from June 21 to 24, 2011. The exhibition was supported by the RF Ministry of Energy, the RF Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology, and the Federation Council and the State Duma of the RF Federal Assembly. The Oil & Gas Exhibition is the largest international oil & gas exhibition in Russia and the efficient business place; it brings together 1,000 companies from 40 countries and 30,000 visitors - oil & gas industry experts.

At the site near Pavilion 1 a formal opening ceremony has been held. By tradition, honorable guests  represented by Director of the RF Minenergo Oil Refining and Gas Processing Department P.A. Degtyarev, President of the Union of Oil and Gas Industrialists G.I. Shmal, Executive Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs V.M. Cherepov, Rector of the Gubkin Russian State Oil & Gas University B.G. Martynov, Chairman of the NAFTOGAZ Management Board E.N. Bakulin, General Director of B-Gas-C financial and industrial corporation A.M. Volovik, and OAO VNIPIneft General Director V.M. Kapustin, etc. delivered their welcoming speeches and cut red ribbon.

During the exhibition the OAO VNIPIneft booth was visited by representatives of oil refineries, research institutes, manufacturers of various equipment and specialized mass media. Guests of the Exhibition has get detailed information about OAO VNIPIneft activity and new projects, communicated with OAO VNIPIneft top managers and learned of forthcoming forums and conferences to be held by OAO VNIPIneft.

At the Exhibition’s opening day the 9th Russian Oil & Gas Congress “Modernization as a Key Strategy of Sustainable Development of Oil & Gas Industry” has been opened by Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation S.I. Kudryashov. In the Plenary session OAO VNIPIneft Technical Director V.M. Shuverov presented his report on the perspectives of Russian oil-refining industry modernization till 2020.

On June 22, OAO VNIPIneft conducted the Modernization of the RF Oil Refining and Petrochemical section chaired by Academician S.N. Khadzhiyev in the framework of the Oil & Gas Congress.

Director of the Oil Refining & Gas Processing Department of the RF Ministry of Energy P.A. Degtyarev has opened the session and delivered his report including the assessment of state and perspectives of development of the oil refining and petrochemical industry in Russia. Interesting and informative reports presented Director of the Petrochemical Synthesis Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS PSI) S.N. Khadzhiev, President of the Union of Oil and Gas Industrialists G.I. Shmal, Head of the OAO VNIPIneft Innovation Researches Sector E.A. Chernysheva, Department Head of the RAS Siberian Branch Institute of Economics and Industrial Production Organization, (RAS SB IEOPP) A.G. Korzhubaev, and Director of Cal Gavin Company (Great Britain) Martin Hoff, etc.

More than 100 representatives of Russian and foreign companies took part in the discussion concerning the development of oil & gas producing, oil refining, gas processing and petrochemical and gas chemical industries.
