The Annual International Industrial and Economic Forum “The Strategy for Integration: Solving Topical Problems of Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Sectors at the Present Stage was successfully held on November 19-20 in the Gubkin Russian State Oil & Gas University; for the second time it was conducted as the final session of two technology platforms: “Technologies for Production and Use of Hydrocarbons” and “Deep Conversion of Hydrocarbon Resources”.

On the second day of the event a round table was arranged on the topic of personnel training for oil and petrochemical industries, where heads of departments and representatives of high educational institutions discussed the matters of modern education for industry specialists. During the Forum the Advanced Technologies and Equipment exhibition was held.

This Forum is a high-profile industry event that is traditionally supported by the Russian Academy of Sciences, RSPP, Russian Union of Chemists, Association of Russian Oil Refiners and Petrochemical Engineers, Association of Russian Petroleum and Gas Producers, PAO Gazprom Neft, the RAS Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics, the RAS Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis, the National Oil & Gas Institute, the Gubkin Russian State Oil & Gas University, the Lomonosov MSU Chemical Department, OAO VNII NP.

Representatives of ministries and departments, industry Russian and foreign companies, oil refineries and petrochemical plants, design and engineering companies, institutes, public organizations and media take part in the Forum.

As a result of the Forum, the Organizing Committee of the Forum shall sign a Memorandum to be sent to the RF Ministry of Energy, the RF Ministry of Economic Development, the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade, the RF Trade and Industry Chamber, RSPP, and the Moscow City Government.
